How do you order items from your web site? Thanks.

Hi Carol,
I have a gift shop you can order from. Just add the item to the cart and pay via credit card and I will ship/deliver to you. If its an item not in the gift shop you can email me at adegener@me.com and discuss!

Alicia,

I enjoyed seeing your work at the Brooklyn Museum, and hope that this venue was profitable for you and your fellow artisans.

While I was admiring your graphite drawings of the Bowery Savings Bank I asked what kind of paper you had used, and you responded that it was normal sketch paper. I had wondered if it might have been Bristol Plate, which I had recently been introduced to in a drawing workshop. At the time I couldn't think of the name (Bristol Plate) and said I would email it to you. If you haven't tried it, you might like it. It is fun to work with it using the graphite in a "painterly way," using the side of the pencil, and then smudging it around like you would do with charcoal. I found it is an easy way to build up the values in the work, starting with a relatively hard pencil and then working up to softer ones. You are certainly far more skilled than I am, but you may also find it fun to play around with.

The promise you showed as a child has been well recognized! I still have the painted rock you gave me for my 11 th birthday! It is amazing to find you and see what beautiful work you are creating today. Congratulations!
